Who We Are
Based in Cheltenham, currently Claymore Wargaming is just me. My name is Rob and I moved to England to marry my lovely wife, Laura. I got into the hobby of Warhammer and miniature painting in February of 2022 and really got to enjoy the community.
I love the idea of running my own gaming store with tables and a cafe where people would love to just come by, play games, and participate in events. Unfortunately, I don’t have the privilege of starting from that point, but I do have a plan to get to there. Starting with commission painting, the five-year plan continues with the online portion of being a miniature retailer, followed with having a physical storefront.
The main inspiration for this goal is the store in London, Bad Moon Cafe, which I visited on my first time in England when trains out of the city were cancelled due to weather. Over the next year I came to realize that I wanted to do that. I want to create a place outside of work and home where people can come hang out and just game.
